Allow me to ask you, once the transmission is in need of a overhaul because it is spinning on 1st and 2nd most of the time and the oil came out super dirty, can we say that the converter is shut down as well? I'm wondering as I am planning to practice on a B6VA from a 1999 Acura CL that I replaced for a JDM a couple of years ago. People like you that share this make me think that I can do it, maybe. I heard what you said in a similar way, that when US started doing this, they messed it up on the design... I like my little coupe, I wish it was manual. By the way, any book that could also help on rebuilding this that you would recommend. Thank you and please keep them coming.

My question is after getting it warm and then disconnecting the ground to reset the check engine light (15 - 20 sec) ? How much time is there to start the idle relearn ?

Hello. My car is honda accord cl7 2004 and she was run smoothly just now gear shifting at damn exact parameters. Such as. 1 gear to 2nd gear at 1600rpm. 2nd to 3rd shifting good depend on throttle. But 3rd to 4th after 41km/ph. No meter the engine load and the rpm. But the RPM normal at this point much 1800rpm. Than 4th to 5th above

It seems car run in OPEN LOOP mode. Please any suggestions. ? No DTC at all.

Is there a complete solution to this problem other then manual swapping the vehicle. Bought the car for 800 off a co worker interior it in great shape and engine runs strong at 200,000 miles, but transmission has been slipping on first to second second gear slips like very slight. Will a rebuild fix it or will I need another rebuild down the road?

Hey there, PLEASE TELL ME what part this is, @4:35 Thank you in advance. It looks like a similar part on my 11 accord trans but mine has four elbow tubes coming out of it. Two are smaller and the other two are larger. Can't seem to identify this part to save my life.

If I was caught using a `plumbers wrench' I would have been fired, also 'mole grips' and adjustable wrenches were not allowed in a tool kit unless you are a plumber of course. a proper spanner or sockets only were allowed and that is all I use today. Also a screwdriver is a screwdriver not a bloody lever, there are pry bars for that job and as for using a screw driver instead of a drift, aggghh sacked! . this guy is an untrained bodger and I wouldn't let him within a mile of my transmission... Also CLEAN job BEFORE disassembly so crap doesn't fall into the work , god how standards have dropped in 50 years.
